William “Bill” Fred Crafton, Jr., having lived 95 years, was preceded in death 
on November 7, 2011 by many dear friends and family members, including two 
wives, first, Mary Helen Stark Crafton of 42 years, survived by their three 
children, Clifford (&Linda Evans) Crafton, Carol Walkup, and Carl Crafton, five 
grandchildren including spouses with four great grandchildren and second, 
Gladys Straughn Jones Crafton, for 21 years survived by step son, John (&Margie 
Campbell) Jones, and including spouses 18 step grandchildren and 15 great-step 
grandchildren and 4 great great step grandchildren.

The 40 some years working for Emerson Electric afforded Bill opportunities to 
travel the U.S. and Europe plus numerous U.S. family vacations. He remained an 
avid reader, food lover, cook, gardener, game player, as he strived to live a 
Christian life.
