Rose Sharp Jenkins passed away Friday, November 25, 2011. She was born February 
5, 1947 in Covington to the late Leo Henry and Annie Clara Sharp and has been a 
resident of Franklinton for the past five years.

The beloved wife of the late Virgil Warren Jenkins, she was the mother of three 
daughters, Tammy Furlow Sullivan, Gena Furlow Higgins and the late Juanita 
“Angel” Vice. She is survived by four sisters: Mary S. Cook, Elaine S. Cortez, 
Betty S. Durham, Kathy S. Jenkins; six grandchildren and three great 
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Lucille Cortez, 
Susan Jenkins and Joyce Barker and two brothers, Sherman and Sammy Sharp.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at 7:00 PM on Monday, November 28, 2011 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 
21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.

Visiting hours will begin Monday at 4:00 PM.

Private interment services will be held later at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in 
Covington.
