(PawPaw) Justi passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at age 93. Son of the late John Justi, Sr. and Josephine Heil Justi. He is survived by his beloved wife, Vurla Marie Colwart Justi; daughters, Jerilyn J. Hauck and JoAnn J. Bianchini; step-children, Tony Caruso, Terry Caruso and Debbie Burton; sons- in-law, Raymond J. Hauck, Walter C. Bianchini, III, Hank Burton; daughter-in- law, Corrine Caruso. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Hazel G. Justi; brothers, Joseph and John Justi; step-brothers, Allen and Wilbert Lockwood; and beloved grandson, Jeffrey D. Hauck. He leaves behind grandchildren, Luke and wife Kerri Bianchini, Gina and husband Ryan McLaughlin, Stefani K. Hauck, Justin Smith, Lindsey and Tony Caruso; and great-grandchildren, Chris, Amanda and Hannah Hauck, Emma McLaughlin, Lucca and Kaylee Bianchini. He was born in New Orleans and was a retired Federal Government Employee. He was a 1937 Holy Cross High School graduate. Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral services Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1501 W. Causeway Approach, Mandeville, LA 70471 with a gathering at church from 10:00 AM until Mass begins at 11:00 AM. E.J. Fielding Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Interment will be in St. Vincent de Paul, 1401 Louisa St., New Orleans, LA at 2:00 PM.
