Eva W. Van Zant passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at age 97.

Beloved wife of the late William Emory Van Zant, Jr. Loving mother of Carolyn 
Rae Van Zant and William Emory Van Zant III. Daughter of the late John Earl 
Williams and Addie Powell Williams. Sister of Mrs. Hugh Thompson. Grandmother 
of Katharine Van Zant Moore. Great-grandmother of John Emory Van Zant.

She was a resident of Covington since 1947 and a member of Christ Episcopal 
Church.

Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral services in the Chapel of 
Christ Episcopal Church, 120 S. New Hampshire St., Covington, LA 70433 on 
Tuesday, November 22, 2011at 11:00 AM with visitation in Holzhalb Hall on the 
church grounds on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time.

Interment will follow in Garden of the Pines Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mrs. Van Zant be 
made to Christ Church Chapel Fund, 120 S. New Hampshire St., Covington, LA 
70433 or Community Care Hospice, 1007 West Thomas, Suite A, Hammond, LA 70403.
