Dr. Charles “Chuck” Theron Caraway passed away Dec. 6 at his place of 
residence, Christwood Retirement Community in Covington. 

After retiring from 29 years of service with the State Health Department of 
Louisiana, Charles enjoyed two decades in peace and contentment among a host of 
good friends both near and far. 

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Millie, his brother Forrest, and 
parents, Molinda “Peg” and R. B. Caraway Sr. 

He is survived by brother R. B. Caraway Jr., and wife Annette, niece Carole 
Caraway, nephew Bruce Caraway and wife Sherri, their children Avery and Lauren, 
and nephew Brett Caraway and wife Jessica. 

Charles’ remains will be buried next to his wife Millie, at Rock Church 
Community Cemetery in Tolar, Texas.  
A memorial service will be held at Christwood Retirement Community on Jan.15, 
2012 at 2:30 p. m.
