Gerald Eugene Claude was born Feb. 5, 1955, to the union of the late Norvel and Ellarose Claude. Gerald was the middle child of seven children. Gerald was educated in the St. Tammany Parish school system. He met and married Andrea Page Dec. 21, 1985. From this union one child was born, Jason Antoine Claude. Gerald was a spiritual person and attended church as often as it was humanly possible. He loved his church. He joined Hartzell Mt. Zion United Methodist Church at an early age. He remained an active member at this church until his death. Gerald was also a father and grandfather figure to Shane Hall and Vanessa Wasser and their daughters Amerianna (Pinky), Makayla (Mickey), and Shaniyah (Niya). He was also a grandfather figure to Kaiden Carter. He was godfather to four children, Tyra Claude, Glen Williams, Jr.(Pukka), Robert Butler, Jr. (Q), and Da’Shaun Taylor. Gerald was preceded in death by father and mother Norvel and Ellarose Claude, Sr.; brother; Norvel Claude, Jr.; two sisters; Joyce Claude Jones and Gwendolyn L. Claude, and son, Jarrod Claude.
