CROVETTO, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. He thanked God every day for being blessed with family; daughters, Robin Crovetto Perez(Oscar), Kelley Crovetto Overby(Jason), step-daughter Shannon Ordes, and son Jules V. Crovetto, Jr. Son of the late Jules and Elise Gonzales Crovetto. Brother of Louis Crovetto, Cynthia Gagliano, and the late Juliette Dorman. Also survived by eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Age 71 years. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell for the past 22 years. Mr. Crovetto was retired from the New Orleans Police Dept. Motorcylcle Division, and was the owner of East Side Pawn in New Orleans. A member of the Perfect Union Masonic Lodge , F.O.P, and founding member of P.A.N.O. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 7:00 P.M.
