Beloved husband of 58 years to Audrey Bertoniere Glynn; loving father to Kathleen Coludrovich (Earl), Steven Glynn (Leann), Susan Mule’ (Michael) and Dr. Patrick Glynn (Mary Beth); grandfather of Michael, Kelly, Laura, Earl, Elizabeth and Liam; and great-grandfather of Jacob, Joseph, Abigail, Sophie and Maya. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lenore Burling Glynn; his father, Joseph Glynn; a sister, Alice Glynn Buras; and two brothers, Robert Glynn and Elmo Glynn. Age 80 years, he was born in Bay St. Louis, MS, raised and lived most of his life in New Orleans, and at the time of his death was a resident of Covington. A United States Army Veteran, he served during the Korean Conflict. He was a New Orleans Fire Department Chief with the Training Division of the fire department until his retirement in 1970. He later rejoined the fire department as a Fire Prevention Inspector and Fire Technology Instructor at Delgado Community College, and conducted fire related training throughout Orleans and Jefferson Parish. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at the Chapel of E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, December 26, 2011 at 12:00 Noon. Visitation on Monday will begin at 9:00 AM and continue until service time. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. ===================
