Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/sttammany/obits/dateobits/2011/st1112.htm and click to view list of photos. ========== L.W. “Bud” Gregg, Jr., born June 26, 1921 in Jones, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2011. Bud was a World War II Navy veteran, married for over sixty years to the late Rita M. Wilkinson Gregg, and a resident of St. Tammany for over thirty years. He was a retired executive with the Falstaff Brewing Corporation and founder of Medical Marketing Consultants. Bud was extensively involved in the community throughout his life, including helping organize the local Chef Soiree benefitting the Youth Service Bureau and serving on multiple boards and councils, including the Omaha Knights of Ak-sar- ben and Our Lady of the Lake parish council, where he was also a church lector and Eucharistic Minister to the sick. He was also a Mason and a scout for the NFL, recruiting Gale Sayers who signed with the Chicago Bears. Bud was a beloved husband, father and grandfather, survived by his daughter Suzanne Gregg, his son Fred Gregg, his daughters-in-law Linda Helton and Laurie Gregg, his grandchildren Becky Visosky with her husband Bradley, Stacy Gregg, Ryan Gregg, and Alexis Gregg. Bud will be remembered as a patriot, a successful businessman, a community leader, and, most importantly, a hero and inspiration to his family. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte St. Mandeville, LA 70448 on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Visitation on Friday, December 9, 2011 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 10, 2011, AT THE CHURCH, from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington. ===================
