Georg Krueger-Junkers passed away Friday, December 9, 2011. 

He was born in Warsaw, Poland on April 12, 1928 to the late Joachim and 
Margaret Mielentz Krueger-Junkers and has been a resident of Mandeville since 
1982.

The beloved husband of Christa Klaeger Krueger-Junkers, he is survived by two 
daughters, Sylvia Letts and Cornelia “Connie” Dove. He is also survived by four 
grandchildren: Brittany and Brandon Giallonardo, Hunter Letts and Matthew Dove.

Georg came to New York with his family in 1959. He lived briefly in New Jersey, 
but he found a home in Louisiana while his life as a sailor took him around the 
world to countless ports and adventures.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at 3:00 PM on Monday, December 12, 2011 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 
21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.

Visiting hours will begin Monday at 2:00 PM.

Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA will take place at a 
later date.
