Raymond W. King, Sr. passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2011.

Beloved husband of Anne Ponseti King. Father of Randy King and spouse DeeDee, 
Danny King and spouse Denice, Joey King and spouse Ellen and Tommy King and 
spouse Sheila. Brother of Albin King and the late Warren King. Also survived by 
11 grandchildren.

Age 82 years. 

A native of New Orleans, LA, a former resident of Kenner, LA and a resident of 
Covington, LA for the past 16 years. He received the St. Louis Medallion of the 
Arch-Diocese of New Orleans, a US Army veteran having served in Korean War, a 
volunteer with the St. Tammany Hospital Guild and was a member of the Knights 
of Columbus Council #3061.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass from 
St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E. 19th Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Wednesday, 
December 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Visitation, AT THE CHURCH, from 10:00 AM until 
service time.

Interment in Lakelawn Cemetery in New Orleans approximately at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations either to Lakeshore 
Hospice, 2659 N. Causeway Blvd., Mandeville, LA 70471, Covington Food Bank, 840 
N. Columbia St., Covington, LA 70433 or to a charity of your choice.
