Rita Alice Moore Pechon passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2011 in Kenner, 
LA.

Beloved mother of John Pechon, Jr. (Barbara), Barbara P. Marlinghaus (Karl), 
JoAnn P. Weber (Reggie), Jules F. Pechon (Donna) and the late Jules F. Pechon; 
loving grandmother to Sean, Darren, Lance, Kurt, Eric, Kenny, Ann, Jonathan and 
Kelsea; and sister of Edward Moore. She is also survived by 12 great-
grandchildren. Besides her son, she was preceded in death by her husband, John 
Pechon, Sr.; her mother, Wilma Calhoun Moore; her father, Markum Moore; and 14 
brothers and sisters.

Age 91 years, she was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA 
most of her life.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at 
the Chapel of E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 
70433 on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 12:00 Noon.

Visitation on Tuesday will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until service time.

Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
