Beloved husband of Gail Read Richardson. Father of Michael Read Richardson (Mary), W. Read Richardson (Pat), Karen Richardson Seeley, Peter Read Richardson (Annie) and Joseph Francis Richardson, Jr. (Cheryl). Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Son of the late Francis Joseph and Leona Huget Richardson. Brother of the late Thomas F., Francis J., Leo F., J. Ray and Patrick F. Richardson. Age 89 years. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 22 years. He was a graduate of Fortier High School, attended Tulane University and was a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. A WWII veteran having served in the US Navy in the North Atlantic and Pacific Theaters on the USS Washington. He was a member of Audubon Golf Club, New Orleans Country Club and Tchefuncte Country Club. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial mass at St. Joseph Abbey, 75376 River Road, St. Benedict, LA 70457 on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Interment in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to St. Andrew’s Village, PO Box 444, Abita Springs, LA 70420. ===================
