FRANK N. SERIO, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2011 in 
Slidell, LA.

Beloved husband of Louise Serio for the past 58 years.
Father of Diane Smith (the late Dennis), Roslyn Hurstell (Stanley) and Janet 
Jones (Stanley).
Son of the late Sam and Mary Serio.
Brother of the late J.C. Serio, Marion Klein, Anthony Serio and Clara 
Brownsfield.
Also survived by 4 grandchildren; Chad Smith, Kelly Smith, Katy Lothe and 
Alexis Hurstell and 1 great grandchild, Shelby Smith.

Age 78 years; a native of New Orleans, LA a former longtime resident of Arabi, 
LA and Picayune, MS and a resident of Slidell since 2011. Mr. Serio served in 
the US Army during the Korean Conflict; he was a former Route Salesman for 
Goldseal Dairy of New Orleans. Mr. Serio was a former parishioner Prince of 
Peace Catholic Church in Chalmette, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at 
HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, 
LA on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 2:00pm. Visitation will be from 12:00pm 
until 2:00pm. 
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society.
