Denise Vander entered into eternal rest Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011. She was born 
in New Orleans Sept. 19, 1958. She was 53 years of age.

She is survived by her loving mother, Anna Bell Amos; stepfather, Russell Amos; 
two sisters, Glenda (Odis) Brown and Dwan Vander; one brother, Shannon Amos; 
one uncle, Leo J. Casanave (Anjo); one aunt, Irma Casanave and numerous family 
and friends.

Wake services will be held at 7 p.m. today at the Macedonia Baptist Church, 
60183 Bryant Road, Slidell. Dismissal service will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow, 
with visitation from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. 
Interment is in William II Cemetery, Lacombe.
