She was a native of Corleyville, La., and a resident of Jena. She was a judicial administrator with the East Baton Rouge Parish Family Court. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Knippers McNamara of Spanish Fork, Utah, and Rae Knippers Kelley of Slidell; a son, Eddie W. Knippers, Sr. of Baton Rouge, 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; Clyde L. Ward; her parents; Eddie P. and Lina Wagley Cobb; a brother, Ray Cobb and sisters; Lucille Cobb and Marie Cobb Muse. Services were held yesterday at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, and were conducted by the Bishop Michael Dohm. Graveside services were also held yesterday at Carter Plantation Cemetery in Springfield, La. Pallbearers were, Patrick Kelley, Will Knippers,III, Will Knippers II, Logan Lato, Tim Lato and Mike McNamara. ===================
