Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/sttammany/obits/dateobits/2011/st1112.htm and click to view list of photos. ========== Bilton Ronald “Bootsie” Watson was born Aug. 22, 1958 to the late Lenora Clark Watson and Bobby Ray Watson, Sr. He departed from this life far too soon in a tragic accident Dec. 6, 2011, at his father’s home where he resided in Covington. He was baptized and raised in The Greater Starlight Missionary Baptist Church, which he continued to attend for many years. He was married to the late Marilyn Warren Watson and leaves behind five children, Channa I. Watson, Justin R. Watson, Bilton “Lil Boosie” R. Watson, Jr., Shawn Watson and Clyde “LC” Ard. Other survivors include a father, Bobby R. Watson Sr., of Covington; two sisters, Connie J. Clark and Shirley A. Calahan of Baton Rouge; four brothers, Barbossa “Bossa” R. Watson of Lancaster, Calif., Marlon Brumfield of Covington, Bobby R. Watson, Jr. and Kelvin V. Watson of Baton Rouge; aunties, Donna “Dot” Clark Carter of Baton Rouge, Audrey Watson of Covington, Gloria M. Cato of Los Angeles, Doris L. Roxie of Covington and Hilda “Honey” Dyson of Monticello, N.Y.; uncles: Donald Clark of Gary, Ind., Calvin Watson of San Barbara, Calif., and Herbert “June” Dyson of Monticello, N.Y.; nieces and nephews, Samuel A. Grimes, Joanie L. Smith Wells, Jamie A. Callahan, Brandon Watson, Jaris Watson, Rachel L. Russell, Nicholas McCormick and Markel Roddy, and a host of other in- laws, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his wife; his mother, and three brothers, Emeric “Ricky” Watson, Eric A. Frick and Robert Richardson and two sisters, Evelyn king and Bernadette Callahan Baham. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at The Greater Starlight Baptist Church in Covington. Interment will be held at the Wilson Cemetery, handled by Richardson Funeral Home, Abita Springs.
