WEAVER

On Tuesday, the Pearly gates were opened for one of God’s Children. 

Mary Burnett Weaver was born in New Orleans on Nov. 4, 1955 to the late Cloyd 
and Alice Burnett. 

She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Crystal; eight grandchildren; 
on sister Alvernia (Elmo) Edwards; two brothers, Luther and Peter Burnett; four 
aunts, Ada, Hazel, Yvonne and Lorena; and a host of nieces, nephews, other 
relatives and friends.
Godmother, Delphane Johnson and gofather Estavene William. 

The funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Hartzell Mt. Zion Methodist 
Church with the Rev. Ernest Scott, pastor, officiating.

Viewing will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Doyle’s Funeral Home, 2430 Fourth St., Slidell.
