Carol was the wife of the late Archie Diebold, Jr. She is predeceased by her parents, Everette and Bertha Spears, and brother Clyde Spears. She is survived by her three children, Roxanne Diebold Scurich, Vicki Diebold Spradley and Archie Diebold, III. She is also survived by her sons-in-law, John Scurich and Scott Spradley, and a daughter-in-law Helen White Diebold. Missing their Maw-Maw Carol and Nana are grandchildren Matthew and Jonathan Spradley, Cory, Breanna and Joshua Diebold, and Christian Hutter Scurich. Also missed by great-grandchildren Haylie Roux, Julia LeMaire and Elijah Diebold. Also survived by her dear brother Albert “Whitey” Fauries, sister-in-law Jeannette Spears and niece Pamela Murrah. Carol was a retired registered nurse having graduated from the Southern Baptist School of Nursing, Class of 1957. She retired to Lake Hillsdale in Lumberton, Ms. in 1994 and became active in Gumpond Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School from 1994 until shortly before her passing. There will be a gathering of family and friends to celebrate the memory of Carol’s life at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM and will be officiated by Brother Mark Longino of Gumpond Baptist Church of Lumberton, Ms. An inurnment ceremony will immediately follow the memorial service at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, which is located next to the funeral home. ===================
