Alvin Jules Parsons, Sr. age 79, of Pearl River, passed away Tuesday Dec. 27, 
2011. 

Alvin was a proud Marine who fought in the Korean War. 

He is survived by his wife, Carol Reynolds Parsons; three sons, Mark Parsons, 
Jules Martin and Timothy Martin; two daughters, Joyce Parsons and Sandra 
Parsons. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 
He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Lillian Parsons, and one son 
Alvin Parsons Jr,

There was a graveside service Monday at Hickory Memorial Gardens.
