Katherine Marie Phillips, age, 28, of New Orleans, was brought into Heaven by 
God’s angels Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011.

She is survived by her mother, Elaine Davi Nita; her grandmother, Doris 
Sortino; aunts and uncles Cyndi “C.J.” DeSalvo, Sonta Davi, John Davi, and 
Phillip “Lesly” Davi. She is also survived by other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Katherine was a shining star that burned out too soon. She was the laughter and 
joy of our family. She had a heart of Gold. She always wanted to help others. 
She loved and was loved by her many friends uptown and in the French Quarter. 
She is now at peace with God in Heaven.

Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. Firday Jan. 6, 2011 at Honaker 
Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. West, (in Forest Lawn Cemetery), Slidell. 
Friends may visit at the funeral home Friday beginning at 9 a.m.
