Mona Maria Robertson Raby passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2012.

Beloved mother of Robert Bruce Raby (Karen), Andrew Glenn Raby, Jonathan Wayne 
Raby, Christopher Mark Raby (Annette) and Christyn Marla Raby Elliott 
(Michael); loving grandmother to Jessica, Andrew, Nathan, Cameron, Savannah, 
Sterling and Erik; great-grandmother of Liam and Anna; and sister to Marguerite 
Fayard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Verner Raby; her 
mother, Penelope Bankston Robertson; her father, Jesse James Robertson; sister, 
Vashti Doyle, and brothers, Jessie and Jean Robertson.

Age 87 years, she was born in Mattoon, IL, grew up in Mississippi and was a 
resident of Mandeville, LA for the past 14 years. She was a former resident of 
The Windsor Sr. Living Community in Mandeville. She was a legal secretary for 
several different law firms and retired as a loan compliance officer at St. 
Bernard Bank & Trust in Arabi and Chalmette. She was a member of the First 
Baptist Church of St. Francisville before moving to Mandeville.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service 
at Chapel of E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 
70433 on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 12:00 Noon.

Visitation on Saturday will be from 10:00 AM until service time.

Graveside services will be Saturday at 2:30 PM at Westlawn Cemetery, 1225 
Whitney Avenue, Gretna, LA.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to the charity of your 
choice.
