Arthur J. Schmaltz, Jr. age 52 years passed away on Saturday evening, January 
28, 2012 of a heart attack while engaged in his favorite passion… sound 
engineering, at an event in Houma, LA. 

Beloved son of Audrey Bonomo Schmaltz and the late Arthur J. Schmaltz, Sr. 
Father of Jared E. Schmaltz, Caleb M. Schmaltz, Ashli A. Schmaltz and Ethan V. 
Schmaltz. 
Brother of Kathleen S. Vix (Ronnie), Janet S. Poche, Sharon S. Robin (David) 
and Julie S. Casanova (Craig). 
Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

Arthur’s colorful past included working the music industry. He also was a 
Master Mechanic.

A private family Memorial Service will be celebrated in his honor on Saturday, 
February 4, 2012, Friends and associates are encouraged to visit on Facebook to 
express condolences.
