Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/sttammany/obits/dateobits/2012/st1202.htm and click to view list of photos. ========== Winifred “Winnie” Harris Barlow, of Mandeville, LA, peacefully passed away at Emeritus Assisted Living Facility on Thursday, February 2, 2012 in her 96th year. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald David Barlow. She was educated in Manchester, England. She was employed and retired by Quantum Chemical Mill and Continental Can Company as a secretary. Winnie was born on November 13, 1915 in Salford, England. She was the only daughter of George and Lovell Harris and the sister of the late William George Lovell Harris and Ivor Ress Harris. She also leaves a sister-in- law, Hilda Harris of Salford, England and her two nephews David Harris of Salford, England and Kelvin Jones of Kingston, Australia. She is also survived by her dear and devoted friends of many years, Clare Casteix Apffel and Anita Harrison. She was affectionately taken care of in her last days by her kind and loving clinical staff: Nancy Anderson, MA, Audrey Baker, Administrator Emeritus, Nancy Borne, RN, Cindy Bourgeois, RN, Cindy Davis, LPN, Kay Driscoll, RN, Danielle Fath, RN, Faith Teague, OT, and Mark Wallace. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church of Covington, LA and a volunteer for St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, LA. Reverend Chris and Marlene Hahn of Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mandeville, LA provided continuous spiritual support and made a difference in Winnie’s life throughout her stay at Emeritus. Healthcare providers and the clerical staff of St. Tammany Physicians Network remained a continuous support throughout her illness. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial service at Christ Episcopal Church, 120 S. New Hampshire St., Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 10:00 AM. ===================
