Devoted wife of the late George D. Bray. Loving mother of Betty Bray Giglio and Patricia Bray McEvoy. Sister of Olga Wirhanowicz and brother Charles Champagne and the late Genevieve McMillin, Joyce Reynolds, Sylvia (Tugy) Alexander, and Harry (JuJu) Champagne. She is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Levi Champagne. and her two son-in-law's Frank Giglio and Richard McEvoy. Loving Grandmother of six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Aggie was raised in Welsh, La. and graduated from Welsh High School. Once she got married they moved around and finally settled in New Orleans in the 1950's. She loved to cook and take care of her family. She loved to play cards, crossword puzzles and play games and she even took up deer hunting for a while. She played bridge every week with the Shell Oil Co Bridge Group. She was always very generous and giving to everyone she knew. She loved life and was always happy spending time with those she loved. She was fondly known as "Maw Maw" by everyone who knew and loved her. Special thanks to the staff of Chateau de Notre Dame Hospice for their loving care and support during the last few months of her life. (They also called her "Maw Maw") Visitation : Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Hwy. 36, Covington on Wednesday evening, February 22, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Services will take place on Friday, February 24, 2012 at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh, 412 East South St., Welsh, LA. at 1:00 pm. Visitation at the Welsh funeral home from 11:00 am until service time. Interment will follow in Welsh, LA at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church Cemetery. ===================
