CASEBONNE, CAROL HEATH 
(December 16, 1934 - February 26, 2012)

Carol Casebonne, born December 16, 1934 in Baltimore, MD, after a brief & 
courageous battle with cancer has passed peacefully into God's waiting arms on 
Sunday, February 26, 2012 in Slidell, LA. 

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Carol is survived by her husband 
Louis Casebonne, daughter Valerie and husband Tim and grandson Connor Ryan of 
San Pedro, CA; son Robert and wife Celeste and 2 granddaughters Stephanie & 
Hillary Wein of Middletown, RI. Step-daughters Yvette & husband Mike Powell of 
Darien, GA; Michelle & husband Jerry Smolinski and grandson Alexander and 
Gabrielle Casebonne of Covington, LA. 

Carol was a retired Administrative Assistant for Shell Oil Co. in New Orleans 
and was active in her community including St. Luke's Parish in Slidell where 
she was a Eucharistic Minister, and current member and past president of the 
Lady's Auxiliary of the Knight’s of Columbus at Our Lady of Lourdes. 

A memorial to celebrate Carol's life will be held at the Honaker Funeral Home 
in Slidell, LA on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 11:00am. Visitation will be from 
9:00am until 11:00am. 

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family 
prefers a donation in Carol's name be made to the American Cancer Society at 
www.cancer.org.
