Richard “Rich” Roger Collier, 60, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012. 

Beloved husband for 24 years of Kathy Sarver Collier, he was the father of 
Julie Katherine Collier and Priscilla Lynne Collier; son of the late Geraldine 
Tucker Collier and Percy L. Collier; brother of Edward Collier; son-in-law of 
Gary Sarver, Jr. and brother-in-law of Gary, Cecil, Nancy Sarver and the late 
Christine Collier. He is also survived by numerous other relatives. 
 
Rich retired from Bell South after 30-plus years and was currently employed by 
St. Tammany Parish Mosquito Control. He was a member of Life Gate and was 
involved in the music ministry. Rich served in the U.S. Air Force. 
 
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 1 p.m. 
tomorrow in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain 
Blvd., Metairie. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time.  
Intombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery.
