Carol Mae Hope Olive Doby passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at Slidell 
Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Gainsville, Miss., to the late Joe and Mary Pearl Williams 
Oliver. She was married to the late Anthony Doby. To this union, three children 
were born, Craig (Bolva), Lynelle Doby and Alesha Doby Thompson (Bryan). 
Along with her children, she leaves to cherish her memory, one grandson, 
Richard Doby; six step-grandchildren, LaToya Thompson, Eric Walker, the late 
Carlos Walker, Mario Burton, Portia Hall and Chyna Thompson; two sisters, 
Delores (Willie) Tribble and Dorothy Vince; three brothers, Isiah Oliver, 
Freddie (Norma) Oliver and Joe Vince Jr.; four very special friends, Mary 
Eunette Batle, Elenora Crawford, Gracie Engleand and Bertha Jackson, and a host 
of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to the funeral Mass at 11 a.m. 
tomorrow at the St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Slidell. Visitation will be 
from 9-11 a.m. Interment will be in the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in 
Pearlington, Miss.
