DOOLITTLE

Pearl P. Doolittle, died Feb. 14, 2012, 10 days before her 92nd birthday. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Aurelia Belmonte and Walter Pulling 
and brothers Walter, Nathan, Thomas and Charles Pulling. 

She is survived by daughter, Deborah Bodron (Michael) and one much loved 
grandson Michael G. Bodron Jr.; sister-in-law of Helen Pulling; special nieces 
Azalie Pulling and Phyllis Pulling Henry and many beloved nieces, nephews and 
great-nieces and great-nephews. 

Pearl moved to Arabi with her family at age 7, where she met her life long best 
friend ,Jean Fuller Langlois. An accomplished pianist, Pearl was her church’s 
musician for many years, and until her death played for friends and family. She 
was always the life of any party. 
Pearl worked as a secretary at Domino Sugar Refinery for 42 years, and was 
named older worker of the year for St. Bernard Parish before she retired at 78. 

The last nine and a half years of her life, Pearl resided in Covington, where 
she enjoyed life and many new friendships. 

Much thanks to the loving staff of Christwood Assisted Living Unit who made 
Pearl’s life rich and wonderful in the best years of her life.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at 
Christwood Assisted Living Center, Covington. 
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Tammany Parish Hospice, 725 W. 
11th Ave., Covington, LA 70433 or The St. Tammany Humane Society, 20384 
Harrison Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
