Devoted father of Laurie Duet Candies (husband, Wade), Ruffin J. Duet III (wife, Mary) and Victor A. Duet. Loving grandfather of Wade, Jr., Laure’, Jon and Elise Candies, James and Thomas Duet. Son of the late Ruffin J. Duet and Fay Pelloat Duet Wild and Charles G. “Rusty” Wild. Loving brother of Dawn Wild Moran (the late, husband, Lonnie), Francis Wild Pechon ( husband, Joseph) and the late Edward F. Duet (wife, Paula). Son- in-law of the late Theophile J. and Edna G. Monlezun. Brother-in-law of Dolores M. and Willo M. Schech, Theophile “Buck” and the late Zelda Monlezun, Lucie M. and Huey L. Jenkins, Sr., Beverly M. Richardson Kiefer and Hodge Kiefer and the late Reid Richardson, Sr., Robert C. and Jenny Monlezun, Sr., Roger L. and Jane Monlezun, Sr. and the late Victor A. Monlezun. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A lifelong resident of Madisonville and Covington where he was a parishioner of St. Peter Catholic Church. He graduated from St. Paul’s School in 1958, served in the U.S. Navy, worked 30 years in the aerospace industry with Boeing, Bell-Aerospace, Lockheed-Martin for the NASA space program. He also worked for Halter Marine and was currently employed as a training supervisor for Winn-Dixie. He was a past Grand Knight and member of Knights of Columbus Covington Council 3061, member of Covington Lions Club and the Robert C. Burns American Legion Post 16. Former member of the Krewe of Kaa-Cee and St. Paul’s Athletic Association. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E. 19th Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Visitation on Wednesday evening, February 29, 2012 will be at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and at St. Peter Catholic Church on Thursday morning, March 1, 2012 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. ===================
