FAIN

Mary Alice McCormick Fain, 97, of Slidell, passed away Feb. 11, 2012, to join 
her husband, Plennie Eston Fain Sr. who passed away in 1995.

Born in Pointe à la Hache to parents Walter and Angele Amoretti McCormick, she 
is survived by stepchildren P. Eston Fain Jr. of Birmingham, Ala., and Joy Fain 
Ergle of Roanoke, Va.; and step great-nephew Robert Donald Higgins of Slidell. 

She was preceded in death by stepchild Anne Fain Skipper of Spartanburg, S.C. 

She is also survived by step-grandchildren Ashley Fain of New Orleans, Sandi 
Feldman of Greenville, S.C., Terri Willm of Spartanburg, S.C., Christi O’Neal 
and Michael Ergle of Atlanta. 

Special gratitude to her loving caregivers Don and Lorraine Higgins and their 
sons, Rob and Ryan Higgins, of Slidell. 

A private service will be held.
