Finn, beloved husband of Wendee Elizabeth Shuff-Finn, died on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 after a year-long battle with cancer. He was 42. Son of John “Jack” and Joan Finn. Brother of Karin Stewart and husband Clair. Uncle and Godfather of Chase Stewart. Son-in-law of Arlene Knab. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A native of Niskayuna, New York and a resident of North Shore area since 1986. He graduated from Mandeville High School in 1988 and Clemson University in 1992. His career largely involved marketing for the beer industry and centered on the Jim Carey Distributing Company of Covington. In the past, he was also employed by Miller Brewing Company and Abita Beer Company. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial mass at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1500 West Causeway Approach, Mandeville, LA 70471 on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Visitation at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00PM and again on Saturday, AT THE CHURCH from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will be private at a later time in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery. Special thanks are expressed to Fred and Diane Holland and the many friends who helped David through his illness.
