MARGARET MARY RHODES, 60, of Slidell, LA, entered eternal rest on Friday, 
February 17, 2012, after a long hard fight with lung cancer.

Mother of Leon Manuel Zanco Jr., and the late Baby Catherine M. Zanco;
Daughter of the late Lloyd and Clara Frey Rhodes;
Sister of Mary Ann Rhodes Garic, and Claire Rhodes Serio (husband Vinson); 
Niece and Godchild of Theresa Frey Cooper; Also survived by four grandchildren: 
Amanda Lynn Fox, Arron Edward Fox, Nathan Manuel Fox, and Zachary Manuel Zanco; 
and two great-grandchildren: Christopher Seth Fox, and Landon Manuel Fox. 
Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A native of New Orleans, a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish, and a 
resident of Slidell for the past ten years.

The family would like to thank caretaker Vivian Heck and Loretta Butler for 
their loving care and longtime friendship.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. A 
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1050 
Robert Blvd., in Slidell, on Thursday, February 23, 2012, at 11:00 AM. Family 
and friends may visit at the church on Thursday beginning at 9:30 AM. 
Burial will be at St. Vincent de Paul Mausoleum in New Orleans.
