Laura "Lori" Ruiz passed from this life on February 25, 2012 in Slidell, LA at 
49 years of age. 

A lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish and a resident of Slidell since 
Hurricane Katrina. 

Loving wife of Felix Ruiz. 
She was proceeded in death by her first husband Wilfred Mackles, Sr. 
Devoted mother of Wendy Simpson and husband Shannon. Phillip, Ashley and 
Jessica Mackles and the late Will Mackles. 
Daughter-in-law of Vincent and Virginia Nicolosi and Felix and Joy Ruiz. 
Sister of Chris and Heidi Jochum. 
Stepmother of Tiffany and Corey. Grandmother of Chance, Chase, Mira, Peyton, 
Chandler, Madison, Bryce, Legend, Elise, Baleigh and Kyleigh.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. 
Services at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Hwy. 36, Covington, Friday, March 2, 
2012 at 12:30. 
Visitation at the funeral home from 9:30 am until service time. 

Interment immediately following at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Slidell, LA.
