SMITH, EVELYN CHRETIEN 
(May 9, 1919 - February 28, 2012)

Evelyn Chretien Smith passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2012.

Beloved wife of the late Bertram G. Smith, Jr. Mother of the late Bertram G. 
Smith, III, Florence Smith Roy and Geraldine “Gerry” Chaplain. Also survived by 
6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and one Great-great-grandchild.

Age 92 years. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Covington, LA for 
the past 33 years.

Funeral arrangements are pending and have been entrusted to E.J. Fielding 
Funeral Home of Covington, LA.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to the American Diabetes 
Association
