BASS, CATHERINE M. “CAT” 

Catherine M. “Cat” Bass passed from this life Sunday afternoon, March 11, 2012, 
in Covington. 

She was the loving wife of Thomas W. Bass; daughter of Juanita and the late 
George Rogers; devoted mother of Steven Vining and his wife Amanda of San 
Diego, Calif.;  sister of Karen Rogers Tynes and the late Charles Tynes, 
Kimberly Rogers Smith and her husband Mitchell, and Terry Rogers; sister-in-law 
of Tina Rogers and the late Gary Rogers, George Michael Rogers and Dee Rogers,  
Robert and Becky Bass, Walter and Martha Bass, Mark and Julie Bass Adkins, and 
Jim Bass and grandmother of Collin and Brooklyn Vining.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the services at 1 
p.m. tomorrow at Northshore United Pentecostal Church, 21280 Harrison Ave, 
Abita Springs. 
Visitation at the church on Saturday is from 11 a.m. until service time.  
Interment will follow at Fussell’s Cemetery, Highway 437, Fussell Cemetery 
Road, Covington. 

Serenity Funeral Home, Covington in charge of arrangements.
