COCHRAN, JOY A. BURCH 

Joy A. Burch Cochran, 72, passed away Feb. 23, 2012 in Bogalusa. 

She was the daughter of the late Nova and Bessie Fisher Burch; mother of Dena 
and Jimmy Holden, Fred Cochran, Lucinda Destarkey and Lisa and Kenneth McNabb; 
sister of Faye Burch Ellis (Pete), Willie Burch and sister-in-law Edwina Burch. 
She was the grandmother of eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held yesterday at Southern Baptist Church of Varnado, 
Varnado, La. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer 
Society, Diabetes Foundation or the American Heart Association. 

Serenity Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
