EVANS, YVONNE "DUTCHESS" DEAN 
(March 27, 1922 - March 1, 2012)

YVONNE “DUTCHESS” DEAN EVANS, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 
2012 at her home in Slidell, LA.

Beloved wife of the late Loyola K. Evans.
Loving mother of Lionel “Lee” Evans.
Daughter of the late Henry and Lillian Dean.
Sister of James “Buddy” Dean, Henrietta “Etta” Welborn, Shirley Cuevas, Henry 
“Sonny” Dean, Jr., Larry Dean, Carlotta “Lottie” Johnson and the late Alibess 
“Bess” Crawford, William “Bobby” Dean and Angeline “Sister” Lowe.
Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Age 89 years; a native of Logtown, MS and a longtime resident of New Orleans 
and Slidell, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 12:00pm. Visitation will be from 
10:00am until 12:00pm. 
Interment will follow in Turtleskin Cemetery, Nicholson, MS.
