Ruth Jenkins Fowler passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at her residence.

Beloved mother of Linda Fowler Blanchard (Rev. Jim), Deborah Fowler and Chuck 
Fowler (Paula); and loving grandmother of Will Crain, Danny Crain, Jodi 
Bridges, Jimmy Blanchard, Shelly Textor, Melissa Herberger and Chaz Fowler. She 
is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 
beloved husband of 61 years, C.W. “Bill” Fowler; her mother, Lillie McLain 
Jenkins; her father, Fadie Jenkins; and two brothers, Roland “Buddy” Jenkins 
and Rayferd Jenkins.

Age 84 years, she was a native of Blond, LA and a lifelong resident of 
Covington, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services at 
the Chapel of E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, 
LA 70433 on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 3:00 PM.

Visitation on Saturday will be from 1:00 PM until service time.

Interment will follow at Fussell Cemetery.
