David W. Griffith, 68, passed on to eternal life on Monday, March 12, 2012 from 
cancer.

He was the beloved husband of Susan Forshag Griffith and son of the late Warren 
M. and Madelyn B Griffith. 
He is survived by his son, Michael D. Griffith of Pearl River, and his 
daughter, Wendy L. Griffith of Slidell.

He was a native of Jackson, Miss., grew up in Rayville and lived the last 32 
years in Pearl River. 
He worked in sales for the lumber industry up until his death. 
He enjoyed fishing and cooking during his off time and was also an active 
member of the Pearl River United Methodist Church. 
He served in the Army National Guard from 1965-1971.

Visitation services will be held on Thursday, March 15, at Pearl River United 
Methodist church beginning at 10 a.m. with ceremony following at noon.
