ELSA ESTEVEZ GUINCHARD, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2012 
at her home.

Beloved wife of Joey Guinchard, III for the past 22 years.
Mother of Michelle Gravois Haik and Michael Estevez Gravois.
Grandmother of Camryn and Tanner Haik. 
Daughter of the late Miguel Estevez and Elsa Diaz Estevez.

Age 60 years; a native of Havana, Cuba and a resident of Slidell, LA for the 
past 14 years. Elsa left Cuba at the age of 9 for Miami, FL for 3 years, 
Newfoundland Canada for 3 years then to Gentilly in New Orleans, then Slidell, 
LA. She worked for Radiophone for 20 years. 

Special thanks to Lakeshore Hospice and her best friend Mary “Toups” Richter, 
in her time of need. She will be loved and missed forever.

A gathering in her honor will be held a later date. Memorials in honor of Elsa 
to Slidell Animal Shelter, 2700 Terance Ave., Slidell, LA 70458.
