THOMAS HOOD, age 49, a longtime resident of Chalmette, LA, and a resident of 
Crystal Springs MS for the past 15 years, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 
2012, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.

Beloved Husband of Carrie Hartdegen Hood;
Father of Thomas Henry Hood, Stephanie Butler (husband James), Katie Chastant 
(husband Jordan), and Donald Talazac;
Son of Thomas and Shirley Willis Hood;
Brother of Debbie Turner (husband Ricky), and the late Keith Hood; Also 
survived by six grandchildren: Colston Hood, Jade Talazac, James Butler, Samuel 
Butler, Hayden Chastant, and Jaycie Chastant; Son-in –Law of George Hartdegen 
Jr. and Patricia Lamare Hartdegen.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a visitation and funeral service on 
Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE BLVD WEST, SLIDELL 
LA 70460. Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 10:00 am, followed by a Funeral 
Service at 12:00 noon. 
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
