He is survived in death by his wife of 60 years, Rosa “Sissy” Joyce Jordan; one daughter, Adele Jordan Smith, (Joel) and four sons, Daniel Jordan, (Angela), Nathan Jordan, Elton Jordan, and Ray Jordan, (Marilyn); 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; twin brother, John “Jug” Jordan, and Preston Alsobrooks; three sisters, Barbara Flint, Iris McClamy, and Lois Singletary; one uncle, Herman “Cub” Provost, and one aunt, Marie P. Williams. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mamie Alice Provost Jordan Alsobrooks; his father, Freeman Jordan; one grandson, William D. Jordan; two sisters, Martha Jordan Peterson, and Mary Alsobrooks Singletary and two brothers, John J. Alsobrooks, and Roy Alsobrooks. Funeral services were held Tuesday, at Pine Grove United Pentecostal Church, Pearl River. Interment was in Austin Cemetery, Pearl River. ===================
