Lee, Jr. passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 31, 2012 in Covington, LA. He was born on February 3, 1926 to Lottie and Joe Lee in Arkadelphia, AR. After graduating from Henderson State University, he served in the US Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict. Upon discharge from the Army, Joe began a sales career with Lone Star Industries. He remained with Lone Star until he retired in 1985. Joe was an active member and Sunday School Teacher at Wilshire Baptist Church until his recent move to Louisiana. Joe is survived by his wife of 59 years Norma and their three children: Mike and his wife Kristi, Marcia and her husband Mike Dobbs and Elaine and her husband Clif Smith. He dearly loved his grandchildren: Megan, Amy, Michelle, David, Emily, Morgan, Brian, Jessie, Jennifer and Paige. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at First Baptist Church of Covington, 16333 Hwy 1085, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Visitation, AT THE CHURCH, from 10:00 AM until service time. A graveside service will be held at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243 on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, ===================
