Beloved wife of Bill Luther for the past 41 years. Daughter of Eddie and Jackie Levy Panks. Mother of Denise Robertson(Lamont), Stacy Davis, Kori Luther, and her beloved shitsu, Nivi. Sister of Lisa Panks King, Gaynell Collins and Gwen Venezia. Sister-in-law of Ricky Luther and Gayle Schoonover. Daughter-in-law of Patricia Luther and the late William Luther. Also survived by her 8 grandchildren, Brittany Herron, Jessica Monroe, Blake Davis, McKenzie Davis, Taylor Wheeler, Chaise Wheeler, Kylie Robertson and Payton Robertson . A lifelong resident of Slidell, she was retired from the St. Tammany Parish School Board. She devoted much of her time and energy to her family and was a faithful servant to the Lord. Linda’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quanitity of time in which one lives. Her gentle smile, brought so much joy to our family. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. Rev. Frank Sempere, officiating. Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY. Visitation on Thursday after 11:00 A.M. until funeral time.
