ELISE MARIE SARRAT MAYEUX, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family 
and entered into eternal life on Friday, March 2, 2012. 

Beloved daughter of the late Pierre and Marie Sarrat. 

A native of New Orleans, LA and a longtime resident of Slidell, LA. 

Beloved wife and soul mate of Leroy J. Mayeux, Sr. for the past 66 years. 
Loving mother of Leroy, Jr. and Jan Mayeux, Janet and Jimmy Walker, Linda 
Mayeux, Michelle Mayeux, Terry Mayeux, Rene Mayeux, and Steve and Patty Mayeux. 
Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. 

Mrs. Mayeux was the last surviving child of 7 siblings. 

A longtime parishioner of St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church. 

Mrs. Mayeux was a fulltime “Gram” who was devoted to her family and enjoyed 
traveling/camping, gardening, square dancing, sewing and serving her church 
family.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at 
HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 Gause Blvd. West, Slidell, LA on Monday, March 5, 
2012 at 2:00pm. Visitation will be from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. 
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
