Bonnie Jill Nelson passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the age of 51.

Beloved wife of 20 years to Paul Edward Nelson. Loving mother of Carley Jill 
Nelson and Paul “Jacob” Nelson. Daughter of Betty Jensen Espenan and the late 
Edwin Joseph Espenan. Sister of Betty Jane Hensen, Mary Judith Velino and Edwin 
Joseph Espenan, Jr.

Bonnie was a native of New Orleans and a resident of the northshore for the 
past 25 years. She was a graduate of Riverdale High School, an Administrative 
Assistant for Sygnvs Intergrated Solutions and a parishioner of Mary Queen of 
Peace Catholic Church.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 
Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1501 West Causeway Approach, Mandeville, 
LA 70471 on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 12:00 noon with visitation at church on 
Tuesday from 10:00 AM until Mass time.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations in memory of Bonnie be 
made to St. Joseph Abbey, 75376 River Rd., St. Benedict, LA 70457.
