Frank Joseph Oddo, 88, was called home to rest Sunday, March 11, 2012. 

The son of the late Samuel Oddo and Josephine Deparlo Oddo, he was the husband 
of the late Bell Heehler Oddo, beloved father of Emile Pat Davies Oddo and 
father-in-law of Linda Jenkins Davies. He leaves behind three granddaughters, 
Stacey Davies Jarrell (Derrick), Kristy Davies Silver and Terri Davies Jenkins 
(Donald Stein), and seven great-grandchildren who adored him.

Oddo owned and operated the Jefferson Bottling Co., with his father. He was a 
veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II, where he received several 
commendations as a still photographer, filming before, during and after the 
Bikini atomic bomb test July 1, 1946, and July 25, 1946. 
He later worked for the Jefferson Parish School Board and the Greater New 
Orleans Causeway Commission, retiring from both, and was a freelance 
photographer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at 10 a.m. 
Saturday March 17, 201,2 in the chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee 
Road, Covington. 
Visitation is from 9 a.m. until service time.

Interment will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery.
