Beloved Husband of Eunice Busby Pichon for the past 57 years. Son of the late Armand “Bud” Pichon and Selma “Susie” Pichon. Father of Catherine Pichon Galatas(Johnny), Elizabeth Pichon DiMarco(Joe), David Leonard Pichon(Janine), James Ernest Pichon(Judy), Michael Steven Pichon and Thomas Armand Pichon(Rebecca). Brother of the late Mary Pichon. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Galatas, John Galatas,III, Brian Pichon, Cameron Pichon, Reid Pichon, Joseph DiMarco, and 2 great grandchildren, Brett Galatas and Brian Pichon, Jr. Age 78 years. A native and lifelong resident of Bayou Liberty, La.. He was the owner of Pichon’s Grocery, Bayou Liberty, La. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a lifelong member of St. Genevieve’s Catholic Church and a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. President of Bayou Liberty Civic Center, longtime Chairman of Bayou Liberty Pirogue Races and Secretary of the Bayou Liberty Water Association for the past 40 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Genevieve Catholic Church, 58203 Hwy. 433, Bayou Liberty, LA on Wednesday evening, April 4, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. Visitation at the church on Wednesday from 3:00 P.M. until funeral time. Rev. Mark Lomax, Celebrant. Interment in Dubuisson Cemetery on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. Donations to the Bayou Liberty Civic Center, or to St. Genevieve Catholic Church, preferred, in lieu of flowers. ===================
