Ann C. Spence, 66, of Slidell, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Slidell 
Memorial Hospital. 

She was born on Aug. 17, 1945 in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of the late Eric 
and Violet Fink. 

She leaves behind her sister April Deyoung of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; companion 
Jerry Jabes, Ponchatoula; cousins in the Northeast and numerous friends. 

She was a retired administrative assistant for Lockheed Martin after 25 years 
of dedicated service, and a longtime resident of Slidell. 

She was devoted to helping animals and was a faithful contributor and advocate 
for animal rights and the care of animals in general. 

Donations to Best Friends Animal Society in lieu of flowers would be 
appropriate.

A gathering in honor of Ann will be held at a later date.
